Mother's Day was pretty awesome. We walked at the lakefront, played at the park, drank some yummy coffee, ran 5 miles in the most perfect weather conditions while listening to my favorite band, had a delicious seafood dinner with my extended fam, and had everyone over to our house for dessert and a visit. So nice! Daddy did right by Mommy with a gift card to Lululemon and tickets to see my favorite band when they come to Milwaukee this summer. Thanks, Steve, for such a wonderful Mother's Day!
Hayden is becoming such a grown up. She wore pigtails on Saturday and a ponytail on Sunday. She holds a banana and eats it herself. She holds her own grown up cup and drinks. It's exciting to see her develop but also so sad to know she's never going to need me to cut up her banana again. Sigh.
As if Mother's Day wasn't enough fun for a weekend, Melissa and Ryan and the boys were in town and we met up for dinner on Saturday night. So fun to see the Lentz crew again. Before dinner, Standrayden walked up and down the Riverwalk and picked dandelions in Pere Marquette park.
