13.1

Last weekend, Steve, and Erin, and I ran the Honky Tonk Half Marathon in the Wisconsin Dells.

We had a picture perfect race day and a fun weekend at the cabin leading up to it. My Mom, Bryant, and Drew met us at various points along the course - it was the first time Hayden was there to cheer me on during a race, such a cool feeling. Even better was when I plucked Hayden out of Steve's arms in the finishing chute and carried her across the finish line. So awesome.

Here are some proofs from the race.

You can see that Erin and I had a bit of fun on the course. It was awesome to train for this race with Erin, to spend so much quality time together and to accomplish another half marathon finish together.

How awesome that Erin did a half marathon just 6 months after having Drew. What a super mom!

I'm so proud of Steve's run. What an amazing turn of events, we weren't sure his knee would hold up during the training given his past knee surgeries. Not only did his knee hold up, but he killed it on race day - finishing on his goal of under 2 hours!

Steve and I took off of work on Friday and spent the morning getting coffee together and going for a long walk at the lakefront before picking up Hayden from daycare and heading up to the Dells during her nap.

Our first order of business in the Dells was a trip to the main drag where we shopped a bit and found a little bar to feed drew his bottle (and the rest of us might have had a little drink ourselves).

(Tailgate diaper changes always crack me up)

(OMG how cute is this little boy?!!!)

(When did we grow up and become stroller-pushing moms???)

Hayden is really into her new tea party set. It's especially fun for her (and especially messy) since Steve began actually filling the teapot with real water. We had a long tea party on Saturday morning on top of a nice thick towel.

Packet pickup!

Last boat ride of the season.

Thanks, Erin and Bryant, for such a fun weekend at the cabin!
