We've been having a bit of a ball lately. Here's proof.
Estabrook Beer Garden is open again. Hallelujah for German beer and good friends.
We attended two Church festivals in two weekends and, man, is that fun for the whole family. Rides for Hayden. Cold beer and music for Mom and Dad. Games for all of us. Gotta love it.
Hayden discovered the delight in shopping at Trader Joe's last weekend. They have shopping carts just her size, samples every day, and the cashiers hand out stickers. She was pretty happy.
Father's Day was really fun this year - Hayden made Steve a little drawing and insisted we wrap it up in Santa Claus paper. She was too excited to wait for Dad to get out of bed before bringing his presents to him!
We went out for breakfast at the Pancake House and later had Steve's Dad and Auntie Mary down for a very relaxing BBQ on our patio.
The day ended with Hayden's first Sparkler experience in her jammies on the front porch a good deal past her normal bedtime. I was so busy trying to figure out how to capture it on my camera, I didn't even notice the increasingly worried expression on her face as the Sparkler burned down. Note to self: pay more attention next time. But in the meanwhile, these pics are pretty priceless.
