Last week we took our second annual spring family vacation. This year we personally introduced Hayden to Mickey Mouse at the Magic Kingdom and then spent a few days relaxing at Cocoa Beach. It was an amazing trip - so magical to see Hayden experience Disney for the first time. It really took me back to my childhood memories of all of the family trips I took to Disney as a child. And the week spent together as a family is always the best of the year. We look forward to many more family trips to Florida.
On the bus from the airport to Disneyworld!
Our hotel was so fun!
The best moment of the trip - meeting Mickey Mouse! (Mommy and Daddy both got teary!)
My two favorite people in one of my favorite spots on earth.
Just a pretty view.
So hot - 92 degrees that day - watching the light show against the castle. So awesome.
Hayden was a trooper - we were at the park from open to close.
Taking a walk around our hotel grounds.
Swimming at the Finding Nemo themed pool.
Hayden (and Daddy) loved jumping through the sprays of water.
Having fun in Downtown Disney. The rain doesn't stop the Rech Family as Hayden repeatedly told us that day!
Waiting for Stitch to spray water on her at the Disney Store at Downtown Disney.
Riding the train at Downtown Disney.
And the carousel, too, of course!
On the bus home from Downtown Disney.
Mr Potato Head!
Watching Frozen on the iPad. Every. Night.
Great Ocean view at our hotel in Cocoa Beach.
Daddy surprised us with a convertible for the Cocoa Beach leg of the trip.
Loving the top down (and the Silly Putty)!
Yummy fresh fish for dinner every night made Mommy very happy.
Morning seashell collection on the beach with Mom.
