Happy Birthday, Steven!

Steve had a milestone birthday last week, though most wouldn't know it - he preferred to keep the fanfare to a minimum. We had a quiet family birthday celebration last Thursday night at home. It was simple and relaxing - a time to focus on the small pleasures of life.

I cannot express how much this man means to me - as a best friend, life partner, and husband. Or how much I know he does and will always mean to Hayden - as a father, role model, cheerleader, and teacher.
