Friday night the three of us went out for an early dinner at Via on Downer. If you've never been there, it's worth the trip - don't miss the Bruschetta Salami. So delicious!

Saturday, we bummed around the Third Ward after hitting up Soup Bros down on 2nd and Florida for lunch. I can't believe it was Steve's first time there. He's a believer now, and with good reason. Everything on the revolving menu is always amazing. Here's a pic of my roasted red pepper soup and Steve's black bean soup. Mmmmmmm.

After browsing some shops and stopping for a beer break at Palms, we headed to the Milwaukee Cupcake store and had a little treat before heading home and tending to some chores around the house. Saturday night was a rare cozy night at home.
On Sunday, we headed out to Church and then went to Brocach for lunch with Erin and Bryant where we witnessed the crazy hail storm. It was so incredibly loud and it really accumulated quickly. There must have been a 1/2 inch of hail on the ground as we headed out to our car. We hung out all afternoon at our house with Erin and Bryant, just catching up with each other and enjoying their company.

It was hard to come to work this morning after so much fun family time this weekend!
