Talking

Hayden's been saying words for a long time now. She's even begun stringing them together to make short sentences. But there's a new talking trend that just melts me - she's started actually talking to me.

Some of my favorites:

Here you go, Mommy. (When she hands me something.)

Thank you, Mommy. (When I hand her something.)

Hold you, Mommy. (When she wants me to pick her up.)

Come back, Mommy! (In the background when I talk to Steve on the phone if I'm away from home.)

My potty, too, Mommy! (When I go to the bathroom and she wants a turn.)

My ultimate favorite:

I love you too, Mommy. (When I tell her I love her.)
