Hayden's Art

The other day Hayden came home from school with this drawing she made of her inside my belly.

I find her fascination with pregnancy to be fascinating. What's cool is that I can remember when I was a kid and was also fascinated by the concept of pregnancy.

The coolest thing about this for me has nothing to do with pregnancies or babies, but the idea that Hayden is starting to do things that I can remember in my childhood which means that she's entering that phase where she may actually remember details of what we do together with her now for the rest of her life. I love that!
