Family Sundays

Since Steve and I have been married, we'd made many attempts to keep Sunday as a family day - where the two of us would spend time together doing something OTHER than working...no laundry, no yard work, no grocery shopping, no cleaning, etc. Despite many heroic attempts, we never were able to establish a consistent work-free family day.

Now that Hayden is here, we're trying even harder to establish Family Sundays. Last Sunday, we had an awesome family day. We spent the afternoon bumming around Bayshore, fed Hayden in the nice family room at the mall, and went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory.

It felt like normal life again. It was awesome. I hope it's something we can maintain every Sunday.
