She starts daycare next Monday so she got her first four vaccinations yesterday. You can see the pink bandages on her thighs in the pictures below. Steve said it was a good thing I didn't take her to the doctor yesterday - I would have been crying. Sometimes I cry when she cries really hard at home...I would never be able to keep dry eyes while she got shots!

The doctor told us that we have to get her to sleep in her crib at all times. That means no more napping in her bouncy chair or her car seat. So last night we moved her crib into a more comfortable corner of her room away from the heating vent that sometimes blows cool air. We created a bedtime ritual of rocking and singing to her before putting her in the crib. And guess what - she slept the best she's ever slept before! She was up once in the night to eat and then we followed the bedtime ritual and she went down pretty easily and slept until just before 6 am. Hopefully that sleeping was a result of the new crib location and bedtime ritual - not just exhaustion from her shots earlier in the day.
