We continued our family fun right up to Christmas. Last Friday, we had a Christmas party at Hayden's daycare where she sat on Santa's lap one last time. She keeps telling Santa she wants an airplane. So funny, it's not something she's ever told us she wanted.
After the holiday party at school, we tried out Whitefish Bay's newest pizza place, The Roman Candle, with Hayden's friend Ethan and his folks. The restaurant has a huge wooden spaceship inside for the kids to play in. Hayden liked to peek out of the bubble windows.
Hayden and Daddy did some final Christmas cookie decorating on the 23rd.
And we had a fun family outing to the Children's museum, followed by lunch at Soup Brother's. Every time we go there we wonder why we don't go more often!
Hayden's been learning her letters and numbers and enjoys practicing writing.
Hayden got new Minnie Mouse pajamas this week and has been pretty content to stay in them as late as possible in the morning and put them on as early as possible in the evening. A little evening PJ tea party with dolly and ladybug is never a bad idea.
Last Saturday Auntie Mary babysat while Steve and I had a date at the Bucks game. Steve has better seats this year and it really makes a difference to be so close to the court. We had such a great time talking and laughing - one of my favorite dates lately!
